Registration Guidelines
Alexander University eLearning Seminars are mentoring programs enabling you to study with a professional who will review and critique your work. They’re restricted to a maximum usually of no more than six Learners, depending on the program you’re taking.

Dates and Dropping Out
eLearning Seminars are offered by specific dates depending on the instructor’s schedule. Generally, these programs run no longer than six weeks.

1. Up to the end of the first week, you can drop out and receive a full refund on the program fee (not materials) less 10% admin fees. We cannot accept drop outs after week one.

2. Should events come up that hinder your finishing the seminar, you can retake the seminar once with the same instructor’s permission the next time it’s offered. Should a different instructor teach the same class at a later date, with the instructor’s permission, you can re-register, but you’ll need to pay a separate instructor’s fee of 30% of the original class cost to cover their time and admin costs for re-registering.

Rescheduling
Should an eLearning program need to be rescheduled because of the instructor, you have the option of going with the revised date or receiving a refund on your seminar fee.

Working at your own pace
All study assignments are handled by either emailing you the lessons for the week or having you follow a workbook with the assignments in them. Every seminar has due dates for lessons. You set your schedule for meeting the assignment deadlines.

Assignments are sent to the instructor usually by email, sometimes in the class forum. Some music classes require that you submit MP3 audio of your work. Here, you can either email the MP3 to the instructor, or post it for download.

Once you assignment is turned in, your instructor will send you a critique, and schedule permitting will contact you by phone for further input.

Certificate of Completion
A certificate of completion is available subject to the instructor’s approval. Alexander University, Inc., certificates of completion are earned, never given. They require a great deal of work on your part to complete all the assignments to a professional standard.
